**** ARCHIVED POST ****
With the new bike for tooling around town, I needed a new mount for my phone. Instead of buying a phone mount, I designed and printed one. I looked up the dimensions for the Spigen case and made a dummy in tinkercad. I then went and built the cradle arount those dimensions. For a 2 hour print and about an hour of design time, I'd say this worked really well on the first try.
Here are the pics:
TODO AFTER THIS ONE BREAKS:
- Move the vertical arm a bit to allow for the camera to be used. Currently it blocks the camera due to it being in the center.
- Seat the case further into the cradle. Currently it doesn't fully snap in as I had hoped.
- Make the gopro connector swivel. I'd like it to move into a horisontal plane in addition to the current hard set vertical plane.
