Welcome to 2020, I've removed all my Twitter accounts today.

I joined Twitter in 2008 and have been an on/off user for the last few years. Since the Snowden revelations a few years back I've grown to use it less and less [along with the other social media accounts].

After the recent hack in July, I decided it is too much of a threat surface to maintain and resolved to remove my accounts after a few weeks of thinking about it.

When thinking about Twitter's current state all I can think of is this image:

Most of the thoughts and musings that I would've posted on Twitter have been ending up in my daily journalling. I find it more enjoyable.

Keep on keeping on,

Jeremy
